Where do you come from? How old are you?

I live in the Philippines, somewhere south of the Metro. I am 25 years old now.

Are you working? Why aren’t you drawing for a living?

Right now I am working, hopefully temporarily, in pharmaceutical sales in order to fulfill my responsibility in helping my family’s finances. I do not dislike my work. I am very much contented with the company’s compensation and benefits package. Truth be told, I enjoy being with the people I work with. It’s just that I have decided that this industry is not where I see myself in the next ten—or maybe even five—years of my life. Yes, if I were to choose a career, I would definitely like to put my talents into play.

How do you draw? What programs do you use?

For digital drawings, I use a pen tablet (Wacom Bamboo Fun CTE-450, 8.4” x 7.3”, second hand for 4k php at TipidPC) to draw either in Paint Tool SAI Portable or Photoshop CS2. For my watercolor works, I use Prang Watercolors in various brands of watercolor papers or sketchbooks.

How long have you been drawing? Do you practice everyday?

I’ve been drawing since I was really really young. It’s been my favorite pastime eversince. I really can’t remember when exactly! I try to make it a point that I draw everyday, though sometimes I just can’t because of work and laziness.

What’s your inspiration in making your drawings?

Aside from getting inspired from tons of beautiful things I see in my everyday life, artist friends—my support group—make up a really huge part of my inspiration.

Do you accept requests? Are you open for art trades?

I cannot give any guarantee that I will be drawing requests from strangers (sometimes even friends!), but I usually list all the requests I receive because I know they will come in handy whenever art block strikes. As for art trades, I will get back to you on this because I have a really really long list right now and I want to finish them first before accepting new ones.

What camera are you using right now? Is that a 50mm lens you’re using?

I have a Nikon D5000 DSLR and yes, I am using a 50mm f/1.4D lens.

What’s your favorite anime? What’s your favorite online game?

I love Honey and Clover so much! ♥ As for the online game, Ragnarok Online is the only MMORPG I played for a long time LOL. So I guess that’s it.
