I purchased a pair of horns from Leeke for my doll, Windrette. It’s supposed to be some kind of a majestic goat headgear for her—-since I loooove that headgear from Ragnarok Online (♥!), and she’s actually ‘resinized’ after my character from the game. I bought the horns blank so I had to blush them myself.

This is the first time I’m blushing a ‘fantasy part’ of a dorrie, so I decided to take progress pictures of how fail it went. = v = );;;;;;

Here is a picture of my first and second blushing. Like how I do face ups, I also used chalk pastel for this one. The first blushing didn’t really stick, so I had to seal it with MSC and blush again to attain the one on the left.

Here goes more blushing with darker shades which made me kinda regret the outcome but LOL life goes on and I’ve only got a few sealant left so yeah;;

Now we come to the trickiest most regrettable part hahaha;; the details. I used color pencils for this one. I really wish I didn’t start this anymore ugh. Or maybe, I wish I wasn’t too lazy and sharpened my pencil a lot instead. It did give depth to the colors like how I wanted it to but it looked a bit too rough, huhu. T ^ T );;;;;

I think these last few steps made me like my work more. It’s not too obvious in the picture but I’ve put some pearl powder to the horns—-maybe you can notice if you squint your eyes a little and look at the horn on the right LOL. I’ve also added more details as you can see from the left horn, hee hee. I’m liking them better by this time.

I’m kind of spamming everyday photos now (mostly of my dolls) with my tablet’s low quality camera LOL xD;; I didn’t know it’s so fun playing around with tiny square pictures and limited post processing! Hahaha!!

Work got cancelled today due to an infamously devastating monsoon which caused very horrible continuous rains and floods in the metro. Since it looked relatively finer on our side of the city, thought it would be nice to do something worthwhile for the day. :’)

This is a header image I made for my blogspot account which is linked to my online portfolio which I will make public on my facebook. No trace of my tumblr account there, and hopefully no one from RL finds out—I’ll stop posting links of my tumblr on my twitter already. I treat my tumblr as a very personal blog which has so much precious stuff about my relationship with my bear. Yup, I have privacy issues when it comes to my relationship and my blood relatives, ugh. And to think that I’m already on the quarter life.. Geez.

Just this afternoon, there came a heavy downpour in the metro that caused severe congestion of vehicles on some major roads due to flooding—and yes, I did mean severe. Here me out. Even after killing time waiting for the deep floods and heavy traffic to subside, it still took me three hours and a half to get home compared to my usual travel time of 45 minute to around an hour at most. What’s up with that, Manila? :|

Oh yeah, it’s officially the start of the rainy season in our country. Good luck to all the commuters and motorists alike.

I’ve taken very few pictures from this summer’s Komikon—I think I got so disoriented with the really huge crowd. It seems to get more and more crowded each year, which is actually great since it just means that more and more people are appreciating locally-made home-grown comics now! YAY :D!!
