This is a milestone for me—-to receive such a message from someone outside my local hobby circle. I never thought other people would even know my dolls’ names. It warmed my heart
I’m super sorry though, ‘cause really haven’t been posting much stuff on Tumblr since my PC got busted months ago. I have to use a company-provided low-end netbook and my mobile phone most of the time. The stuff I share here nowadays are pictures I take through Instagram.;;;; orz
Thank you so much again, Caya! ♥~!!
This photo of Elise won the 2nd prize in the DreamingDoll Photo Contest for January 2014!
OMG!!! O Q O )!!!!!
Aaaah! It feels super surreal to win a photo contest!! Even more so when the prize you’ll be getting is another doll!!! I love taking photos of my dolls, and it makes me genuinely happy that people are kind enough to show appreciation each time I post pictures of them online. But for that to actually reward me something concrete and tangible in return? It’s just so unbelievable! Thank you so much DreamingDoll!!

9. Have you made any friends you might otherwise not have because of this hobby?
10. What are your doll plans for this coming year?
I’m so happy I pre-ordered it! The photos are LOVELY okey. Aaah. Though it won’t be until around Christmas that I’d receive them. BUT I AM SUPER EXCITED!! And I’m as excited for the bag and pouches too! Gosh. I didn’t know beige and black make such a classy combination! > 3 < )/
ARASHI-san so cute and adorable even at 30’s! xDD
I was preparing some bjd stuff that I will put up for sale tomorrow when I came across this idea of styling this carrot pigtail wig from Luts into something I want for my little boy Andy. Crazy, right? But I really liked how it turned out.
Look at all those waste of carrot mohair……and my tools of the trade. xD;
TADA~!! > w < )//
I kinda knew at the back of my mind that I can only do this style with a mohair wig. I’m glad I risked it because now I won’t be looking for a wig for him anymore. :’D
I’ve finished watching Maou this morning and I am currently on the 3rd episode of Kagi no Kakatta Heya.
AAAH. OHCHANNNNNNNN~!! ♥
I purchased a pair of horns from Leeke for my doll, Windrette. It’s supposed to be some kind of a majestic goat headgear for her—-since I loooove that headgear from Ragnarok Online (♥!), and she’s actually ‘resinized’ after my character from the game. I bought the horns blank so I had to blush them myself.
This is the first time I’m blushing a ‘fantasy part’ of a dorrie, so I decided to take progress pictures of how
Here is a picture of my first and second blushing. Like how I do face ups, I also used chalk pastel for this one. The first blushing didn’t really stick, so I had to seal it with MSC and blush again to attain the one on the left.
Here goes more blushing with darker shades which made me kinda regret the outcome but LOL life goes on and I’ve only got a few sealant left so yeah;;
Now we come to the trickiest most regrettable part hahaha;; the details. I used color pencils for this one. I really wish I didn’t start this anymore ugh. Or maybe, I wish I wasn’t too lazy and sharpened my pencil a lot instead. It did give depth to the colors like how I wanted it to but it looked a bit too rough, huhu. T ^ T );;;;;
I think these last few steps made me like my work more. It’s not too obvious in the picture but I’ve put some pearl powder to the horns—-maybe you can notice if you squint your eyes a little and look at the horn on the right LOL. I’ve also added more details as you can see from the left horn, hee hee. I’m liking them better by this time.
Here are the finished blushed horns! o v o )/ *~ I just added some semi-clear gloss….for fun. Hahaha.. xDD;; Now have a picture of them worn by Windy:
